te or tá is the fourth letter of the Persian alphabet
I made a note of the words in Hindi that have their roots in Persian. Bonus: I have mentioned Gujarati for some words too on an empirical basis.

Some more Persian words which we do not seem to use in our daily lives but these words are related to some other words that we do use in our daily lives.
> tárkash — the word taarkash which means wire handler. A Hindi word similar to it is kaddookas which means a grater.
> tabáhkar — The word tabáhkar means an offender or one who commits a crime. Hindi word kalaakaar meaning artist or one who does some form of art. Here the link seems to be in the suffix “kar” (to do, to perform some activity)
> takhtgáh — The word takhtgáh means a government seat or a metropolis. Here the suffix “gáh” is similar to the Hindi word bandaragaah which means a harbour.
> takhtáh-bandi — The word takhtáh-bandi means to cover something using planks. Here the suffix “bandi” is similar to the Hindi words paabandi which means restriction or bandi which means the prisoner or bandh which means to close.
